Dr. Janet Zhou is currently a Clinical Biochemist with Alberta Precision Laboratories and a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Alberta. She obtained her certification from the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science in 2017 and then completed her PhD in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Alberta in 2022. Then, she completed a Clinical Chemistry Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Toronto in 2024 and is currently certified by the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry. She oversees general chemistry and Point of Care testing for Grande Prairie and Northern Lights Regional Hospitals and is involved in various provincial projects.
